Glorious Morning

Glorious Morning

When many of us think about mornings, we begin to envision something new. It can be new daybreak, opportunities, experiences, or even new mercies. It is wonderful to look at the new day full of hope and possibility. However, it can be hard to walk in the newness of the day when our hearts and minds are clouded with doubts, fears, and negative thoughts. Therefore, we must discard the clouds and gloom from our minds to walk into the morning and the mornings that follow it, fully taking advantage of the new opportunities and mercies.

Don't only wake up with expectancy, but before you go to bed, discarding and repenting of those thoughts and deeds that would keep you from experiencing the beauty of the morning and day to come. The day is God's gift to us, and His grace and mercy have been given to us in abundance. So take hold of His grace and mercy and rejoice in this day. Refuse to let the clouds and gloom keep you from walking in and experiencing the newness, the strength, and the beauty of this day.

Lord, thank you for each new day and the possibilities of goodness that they hold. Help us to walk in Your new mercies each morning, repenting and discarding the things that would stop us from walking into the day, rejoicing and giving You glory. Bless this day that are we in and help us lay down the weights at Your feet and worship and praise in Your presence, In Jesus' Name Amen.
