Igniting a spark that Inspires ...
Dr. Avis Sparks is a Christian writer, teacher, and speaker that wants to build up and encourage the believer in their relationship with Christ. A Spark Ministries has a goal to inspire others to fully embrace God's love, purpose, wisdom, and character and walk in it faithfully. We understand that the influences and circumstances of life will try to steal and damper the believer's resolve and have us falter and sometimes even want to give up. But the grace of God can restore and empower each of us to succeed and sustain even after failures, mistakes, and hardships.
There are encouragement and support to be found within the Body of Christ that God has established and blessed to meet the believer's needs and the world. We are here to motivate the believer to contribute to the Body and a fortified growing member. We want to show the support and love of God through our actions, but we want to help build and strengthen the Body by sharing the wisdom of the Word of God. With the grace of God, A Spark Ministries will use every venue, opportunity, and gift given to show, live, and talk about the love and grace of God.
Our Vision
We aspire to educate, equip, inspire, and nurture the people of God. This ministry is here to encourage others toward healthy spiritual and emotional lives. Motivating one another to "acts of love and good works" (Hebrews 10:24) that edify the Body of Christ and bring light into this dark world.

As ministers of the great news, we strive to walk worthy of God's great sacrifice to bring us into the right relationship with Him. We prayerfully yield ourselves to being utilized by God as agents of growth and righteous change. Our duty as a part of the body of believers is not only to honor God in our way of living but help support and encourage others in their journey to do the same.
What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the infallible written word of God that brings understanding and guidance in this darkened world and is useful for teaching, encouraging, correcting, and training the believer in righteousness.
The God-head
We believe that there is one God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Creation
We believe God to be the designer and creator of all things in the heavens and on earth. We believe Him to all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present.

Jesus
We believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God and Savior of the world and the only door to redemption, salvation, an intimate relationship with God, and eligibility to eternal life with the Father.
