Time Planned, Not Passed

With time comes progress and growth, which we can take for granted. Without actual intent and action, time can also bring about regression and deterioration.

Time allows space and opportunity for things to occur, but we have free will to determine what we will build, heal, and establish as our legacy.

As we began a new year trying to determine what we will do with the time we are given, let us take the time to consult the One Who has created it, Who has created us. Our plans and goals can be lofty and great. However, His are even greater and are designed specifically for us and our calling, our growth, our victory, our great preordain legacy. Set aside time and receive vision and direction from God. Make the time to write the vision to remind you not to lose hope and forget why you run, work, push, wait, and endure. Look at and research what you plan to accomplish to determine what and who you will need to build and establish it.

God's plans for our lives are bigger and more intricate than we could ever imagine, so allow Him to help and guide you. The words shared, the deed done, the seed sown, the brick laid, the cup of water given contributes to a person, a community, a nation impacted and changed for the better when done in God's will. With time, there is the season for it all, and in it all, we can allow God to guide us and direct us on the path in which we should go.

Lord give us a heart that seeks you. Help us to talk to You this year without ceasing, inviting You into every conversation, every thought, every action, every plan. Give us the grace to make this year, not a year of passing the time but of making a difference, In Jesus Name Amen.

Exercise your prayer life.

2020 brought with it much tragedy, hardship, confusion, and frustration and this year may as well bring the same, but it does not change the plans and calling God has on your life. Seek Him so that you know how to grow, heal, build, and, succeed even in the face of the obstacle ahead.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 (KJV) "And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
