Pray for Me Series

As Christians, we are encouraged to be outwardly focused, seeing and meeting the needs of others. And I'm grateful that this is emphasized because, as Christians, we're always called to be helpers and active members of the body of Christ, ministering and serving those around us.
There is also an important practice of giving time and space for introspection. Looking inwardly and seeing what God would like to do, reveal, heal, restore, renew, impart, and deliver from within us.
So, I would like to encourage you to practice holding yourselves up before God, praying, and seeking God about yourselves.
What is the importance of looking inward and being reflective?
It is an important process that helps us realign as we go through this life, being tossed and driven. It is to help us regain focus and motivation, ensure we are headed in the right direction, and, most importantly, stay connected to God, our source, in all situations.
We don't want to go through our day holding up to God broken and cracked cisterns, asking Him to feel things that will not satisfy. We don’t want to begin our day or week pouring from dirty or depleted pitchers into the people around us.
But we want to hold ourselves wholly up to God to receive from Him, and then be able to pour into others around us from clean, overflowing reserves because we have aligned ourselves with The Source. So I encourage you to join me as we walk through the Series “Pray for Me.”

We will be discussing:
Calling on God and asking Him to Search us, giving time and space for God to speak to us about us.
We will call our Souls to wake up so that we can realign ourselves with God and not only be aware of what we tangibly see around us, but also have eyes, ears, and hearts to see, perceive, and receive what God is doing and proclaiming in the Spirit.
We will consider our ways and begin taking inventory of our mindsets, practices, and activities, checking whether these line up with God's will.
Lastly, we're going to discuss Determined purpose, where we begin to prioritize our first love and allow Him to flow through us and walk with us.
Join me over the next few weeks as we take a journey of self-discovery, victory, and growth through the Pray for Me series.
And you all who would like prayer. Don’t hesitate to ask. I encourage you to DM me on the various platforms @asparkmin or e-mail me at asparkministries@gmail.com with your prayer request. Whether it's a detailed message or simply a prayer for me, we will make sure to intercede on your behalf and pray with you concerning what you are placing before God.
