Remember and Testify

When something arises unexpectedly, or too many things happen at once, we can forget what we have and what we know. We go about looking for answers and remedies, forgetting that the answer to all things has been given to us through Christ. He is a great physician and has purchased and provided every remedy we would ever need through his death and the blood he spilled. 1 Peter 2:24 "He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds, you have been healed."

God gave us the remedy to our spiritual, mental, emotional, physical ailments through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ. For some who have dealt with an ailment (sin, condition, or bad situation) for so long, being healthy and truly delivered from it may seem like an unreachable goal. The truth is when it comes to physical health; everyone may not obtain renewed health after a disease or diagnosis on this earth. However, our spirit man is not confined to the continuing degrading and aging effects of this physical earth. Corinthians 4:16 let us know we can have hope and expectation of healing for a soul while on this earth. It tells us never to give up because even though our bodies are dying, our Spirit is being renewed every day. It is never too late, too soon, or impossible to receive spiritual healing.

God is looking to heal and restore us each day if we allow. He wants us to have good health and to maintain what He has done in us. We must discipline ourselves to do what it takes to keep good health. However, when we fail, it only takes a moment to yield ourselves, repent, and be renewed again. We have been positioned and empowered to overcome. Reminding ourselves of what has been done pushes us forward to grasp ahold of the hope and expect the victories that await. Whether you are a babe in Christ or a seasoned Saint, there are moments, triumphs, blessings, promises that you have walked in that need to be celebrated, remembered, and shared with others. These testimonies are a testament to who God is and what His presence means to us.

As you take time to remember and be grateful for the past and present blessings, build your faith to receive the benefits and promises for today and tomorrow. “So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:7). God has given us a word that we can build with as we keep Christ as our sure foundation. God has given us His word and promises to establish us in purpose and prepare us for the triumph that is coming. Proclaim God’s word to build faith. Share the testimonies that have established relationships and trust. They will ground you and others as we all face the trials, hills, storms, possibilities, and expectations of today and tomorrow.

Let’s proclaim His word and share our testimonies.
