Now that I’ve spun my wheels in the mud of flesh, Heavily bogged down by the weight of worldliness. I have lost my strength and failed the test. I didn’t wear Your armor or choose what was best. No longer filled with the Joy of the Lord that empowered me Because I was busy appeasing the flesh with worldly things;

In our lives, we may have started out with our parents' voices, the world, and our desires, narrating our lives. However, upon receiving salvation, God wants to be the only voice that continues and consistently narrates our lives. God wants to be the One who sets the tone, directs the path, reveals the plot, and uncovers the hidden, infusing His wisdom, grace, peace, comfort, and joy along the way.

God did not lose His attention to detail or His penchant for forethought when it came to writing your story and creating your purpose. So, where does that leave us? Using the Word of God that has been written, we are prepared and trained to embody the character He has empowered us to have, and then we should faithfully fulfill the purpose He has chosen for us to complete, to His Glory and our benefit.

In our journey of healing and deliverance, God wants to show us what is possible in Him and then invites us to experience it. We know what is possible because when we read scripture, we see Jesus performing spiritual, physical, and emotional healing and deliverance. And we do not have to question whether healing and deliverances are for us because He died so they would be available to us.

God wants us to be aware of who we are and what we are dealing with because He wants to minister to us where we are and not where we think we should be. God cares about every part of us. And He is not ashamed of our emotions, nor does He look down on us because we struggle. Instead, He cares and is moved with compassion, wanting us to bring them to Him so that He can comfort, guide, strengthen, help, and heal.

Let us begin to prepare our hearts and minds for the restoration and freedom that God wants to establish in our lives by building our faith, repenting, receiving and giving forgiveness, and releasing the things in our hands that have had us preoccupied and hindered from receiving Christ’s healing and deliverance, which will usher in abundant life.

Walking in the Light, with a repentant soul, and shining bright, it is not about how much we can get done or accumulate while on this earth. It is about guarding, nurturing, and delighting in the connection with God that enables us to get things done and to prosper in various areas of our lives. God wants to see us being a blessing and impacting the world around us, but that does not change His initial desire and will for us, which is to be in intimate connection and relation

God is merciful to us; He does not leave us in ignorance, rather it is willful or the lack of understanding. He warns us because He loves us. We must pick out the spoiled apples in our lives and take care of this precious life God has given, so that we can flourish as He has intended.

We must explore the tension between who we were in darkness and who we are now called to be in the light, so that we do not allow the darkness to invade our days. Jesus expressly reveals that He is the Light and that when we walk in Him, we will not walk in darkness but will instead experience the beauty of His light in our lives.

God is calling us to consider our ways, realign ourselves, and see the importance of cultivating a relationship with Him in operating in the Spirit so that we remain in Him and stay fruitful.

God has so much He wants to reveal to us and talk to us about through His Spirit. However, we cannot hear, see, or experience what God saying and preparing if we are asleep to the Spirit. We can only see and understand the things of God when we are awake to His Spirit.

We must be humble in seeking God so that our hearts can understand who we are through God’s perspective. God knows us better than we know ourselves. As we ask God to search us, we seek a true understanding of who we are and where we stand, so that we can set aside the things hindering our walk with Him toward everlasting.

Our wellness is in our connection and dependence on God. Christ came to give us rest for our souls even with the troubles around us.
